Dan Steinbauer, EMC (UVM Extension Master Composter) and Barbara Willis, UVM EMC will lead this workshop on: The Art of Creating Compost In An Open Pile No Creature Is Interested In Sampling Along the Way. They'll be covering:
· What to put into your home compost pile and what to leave out.
· What you need to know about nitrogen, carbohydrates, protein, & carbon.
· Developing your recipe.
· Introducing the ‘Tower System’
