Grafting Your Own Apple Trees

Since apples grown from seed aren't necessarily like their parents, all named varieties need to be grafted. Come learn about the different ways that this can be done - cleft grafting, budding, and bench grafting - and see examples of each. We will focus on cleft grafting mature trees and bench grafting young rootstock - both of which can be done at home with a few tools.
